I thought it might ease some minds to know someone had safe success with the program in removing this horrible download. I am posting this to help other non-tech savvy folks and I have nothing to gain monetarily for saying it.

I have spent the last two hours googling to remove this crap myself scared to download anything else, and in less then 5 minutes removed it with AdwareMedic. I took a shot and downloaded AdwareMedic and it worked extremely quickly and perfectly. I know this is a bit old, and I NEVER post in here, but I had this same problem and for the life of me could NOT remove (or even find the files!) myself.
